Custom crafted Rat MRI ComponentsResearch hospitals test new drugs and procedures on rats. In order to view results and side effects, the rats have to go through repeated MRI scans. This requires the use of specialized equipment to hold the rat in position. Each aspect of the device has to be machined to extreme resolutions to ensure exact measurements. VisMed-3D was able to produce these highly accurate brackets and parts in a material that is MRI compatible, without distorting the MRI image, at a significantly reduced cost.
